Blaze Bayley, former vocalist of IRON MAIDEN, has confirmed the development of a new solo album following his 2024 release "Circle Of Stone." The project is currently in early stages, with Bayley emphasizing a deliberate approach to songwriting and recording. He has stated that the band will prioritize vinyl format releases, with a focus on a carefully curated tracklist that includes a central song and a powerful closing statement of intent. A key element of the upcoming work is the intention to produce a full vinyl record with distinct sides, reflecting a commitment to analog audio craftsmanship.

Bayley, who sang for IRON MAIDEN from 1995 to 1999 and appeared on the studio albums "The X Factor" and "Virtual XI," is set to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame's Class Of 2026. The ceremony will take place on November 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and will air on ABC and Disney+ the following month. The induction will include the current IRON MAIDEN lineup, as well as former members Paul Di'Anno, Dennis Stratton, Nicko McBrain, and Clive Burr.

Since leaving IRON MAIDEN in 1999, Bayley has released multiple albums under his own name and the moniker BLAZE, including the 2022 release "Genius" and the 2012 project "Wolfsbane Saves The World." He underwent quadruple bypass surgery in March 2023 following a heart attack. As of July 10, Bayley headlined the Friday night Maidenville stage at IRON MAIDEN's Eddfest weekend, celebrating the band's 50th anniversary at Knebworth. The new solo album has not been officially announced with a release date or title, but Bayley has indicated it will be a life-changing project that feels authentic and meaningful to his fans.
