Blood Of The Earth have announced their new EP, Beneath A Sky That Breaks, set for release on October 23. The record features the new single "Petrichor," which offers a deeper exploration of the band's signature sound blending sludge, doom and post-metal. The EP was recorded with producer Ryan Boesch, known for his work with Melvins and Whores. The release marks a significant evolution in the Tampa-based trio's approach, emphasizing atmospheric tension, dynamics and emotional depth over sheer sonic density.

The band, founded by Jeff Golden of Crowbar and Katie Golden of The Convalescence, is now joined by vocalist J. Costa of Thy Will Be Done. Costa's addition has expanded the band's sonic range, with his vocals cutting through the layered textures and adding a commanding human presence. The EP also includes guest appearances from Afzaal Nasiruddeen of Crisis and Masters Ashes and Adam Phillips of Pro-Pain.

Beneath A Sky That Breaks includes the tracks: "Beneath A Sky That Breaks," "The Constellation," "Barren Oasis," "Petrichor," and "Filth Pig" (a Ministry cover). The EP was released through BraveWords Records, which also represents artists including ALCATRAZZ, Jack Starr, and Prophets of Addiction.

Tour dates for the band include October 2 in Wallingford, CT at Cherry Street Station, October 3 in Brooklyn, NY at Lucky 13, and October 4 in Cambridge, MA at The Middle East with Heavy Temple and Crystal Spiders. The tour continues with a performance at Tampa Doom & Gloom Fest on November 14 in Tampa, FL, with Novembers Doom as a supporting act.
