Spanish melodic death metal outfit Bloodhunter have unleashed their brand-new studio album, Sons Of The Abandoned, via ROAR – A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music.
The album marks a turning point in the band's career, shifting the focus inward to explore identity, vulnerability, personal struggle and the cost of pursuing one's own path.
The album expands Bloodhunter's sonic palette with crushing riffs coexisting with elegant grooves and striking melodic passages.
Sharp contrasts define the songwriting: rage against beauty, speed against atmosphere, darkness against clarity.
Guitarist Dani Arcos comments on a standout track from the album: "This song is insane.
We mixed guttural and melodic vocals, slow and melodic choruses with the most extreme riffs on the album… and there's even a recorded piano that you only realize has been there the whole time at the end of the song." In support of their new album, Bloodhunter are hitting the road for a run of live dates in Spain alongside Crypta.
This will be an opportunity to see them perform songs from Sons Of The Abandoned in concert.
Additionally, the band has premiered a music video for one of the album's most dynamic tracks, "Masters Of Deceive.
