Blue Medusa, a new band led by former ARCH ENEMY and THE AGONIST vocalist Alissa White-Gluz, made its live debut on Friday, September 4 at the Corrupted Blood Club Show held at Huxleys Neue Welt in Berlin, Germany. The event, which sold out after just one day in November, revealed international secret headliners including BLUE MEDUSA, HEAVEN SHALL BURN, and KREATOR. The livestream attracted 295,000 unique viewers, primarily from Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. White-Gluz hosted the show and guided the audience through the evening, with the event also being featured on the Twitch homepage in those countries.
Blue Medusa features guitarists Alyssa Day of MINDSCAR and ABSENTIA, and Dani Sophia of ex-Till Lindemann. The band also includes bassist Alicia Vigil from DRAGONFORCE and VIGIL OF WAR, and drummer Delaney Jaster from STITCHED UP HEART. The group has released three singles: "Crocodile", "Checkmate", and "Flying Monkey".
The band's upcoming tour includes dates at Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, KY on September 18, Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA on October 2, and appearances at Wacken Open Air from July 28 to 31 in Germany, Leyendas Del Rock in Villena, Spain from August 11 to 14, and Summer Breeze Open Air in Dinkelsbühl, Germany from August 18 to 21.
Alissa White-Gluz previously joined ARCH ENEMY in 2014 following the departure of Angela Gossow. She has released four studio albums with ARCH ENEMY: "War Eternal" (2014), "Will To Power" (2017), "Deceivers" (2022), and "Blood Dynasty" (2025). The band concluded its tour with White-Gluz on November 15, 2025, in Düsseldorf, Germany. White-Gluz has also performed with DRAGONFORCE, ICE NINE KILLS, SAVAGE LANDS, and SEPULTURA across Europe and North America, with additional festival appearances scheduled through 2027.
