Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson has completed recording the vocals for his upcoming solo album, set for release in early 2027 via BMG.
Most of the eighth solo album was recorded in January and February at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Northridge, California, with producer Brendan Duffey.
Duffey previously produced the re-recorded and remastered version of Dickinson's second solo album, 'Balls To Picasso', now titled 'More Balls To Picasso', released in July 2025.
Dickinson's follow-up to 'The Mandrake Project' will now be mixed by Duffey at his Brendan Duffey Audio studio in Jupiter, Florida.
On Friday, July 31, Dickinson shared a photo of himself and Duffey in the studio, writing: 'Finished vocals for the new album today, me and @brendan_duffey_audio, the producer, having a selfie in the vocal booth! Now he's off to mix it in Florida.

for now.' At San Diego Comic-Con last month, Dickinson told Steve Harkins of TalkShopLive that the album will include a collaboration with his son Austin.
The 35-year-old Austin, best known as the former frontman for metal bands RISE TO REMAIN and AS LIONS, will feature on the record.
Dickinson added that tracks will be released this year, with the artist planning to shoot four to five music videos.
'I'm pretty busy in '27.
And I think everybody's gonna be very happy with what I'm busy with —in every sense of the word,' he said.
Dickinson recorded 16 songs for the album over a three-week period earlier this year, all performed live, as he told Rolling Stone.
'We did it all 100 percent live.

generation.' The album was recorded with his touring band: keyboardist Mistheria, drummer Dave Moreno, bassist Tanya O'Callaghan, and guitarists Chris Declercq and Philip Näslund.
In February, SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser shared photos with Dickinson at Studio 606 and revealed he plays percussion on the new LP.
Dickinson and long-time co-writer Roy 'Z' Ramirez recorded 'The Mandrake Project' largely at Los Angeles's Doom Room, with Roy Z doubling as both guitarist and bassist.
Mistheria and Moreno also featured on Dickinson's 2005 solo album 'Tyranny Of Souls'.
Last August, Dickinson told Metal Hammer that the new material will include 'bone-crushingly heavy' songs as well as moments that 'are just like tugging at the heartstrings'.
'If it's heavy, it's heavy,' he added, 'but if it just happens to be acoustic, it's acoustic.
