BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE Announces 'Social Apocalypse' Album and European Tour
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE has announced their eighth full-length album, 'Social Apocalypse', set for release on March 19, 2027, via Spinefarm. The album marks the band's first new song in four years, with the title track released in September 2026. The record explores themes of modern societal decline, digital addiction, and global conflict, drawing on lyrics that reflect on the world's current state and the erosion of human connection. The band has tuned down to their lowest tuning ever on an album, resulting in some of the heaviest riffs in their discography. The next single is expected to be one of the band's most intense tracks to date.
The album features two guest appearances: Chrissy Costanza of AGAINST THE CURRENT duets on 'In The Absence Of You', and Will Ramos of LORNA SHORE on 'I Don't Trust Tomorrow'. The record was produced by Carl Bown, a veteran of four BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE albums and producer for acts including SLEEP TOKEN and WHILE SHE SLEEPS. Bown is known for his rigorous approach, pushing the band to achieve their best possible sound.
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE has also confirmed their biggest tour to date, spanning European arenas. The tour follows their successful 2025 run at The O2 in London, where they headlined as a solo act. PENDULUM will perform as a very special guest across all shows, with DARK DEVINE serving as openers. The tour reflects the band's continued global influence and their status as one of Britain's most celebrated rock and metal acts.
The band describes each album as a 'journey' capturing a moment in time, with 'Social Apocalypse' embodying both their enduring sound and a bold evolution into new musical territory.
