The track's soaring chorus nods to Linkin Park and Bring Me The Horizon, while its heavy mid-section channels Gojira and Dream Theater.

Candor Zealot consists of seasoned musicians with deep roots in Canada's metal scene, including ex-members of Annihilator and The Slyde.

Frontman Nate Silva is an international touring artist and academic researcher on chiptune music, while guitarist Chris Gagnon and drummer Dino Soares have also freelanced in the Ottawa and Kingston music scenes.

The band brings decades of experience to their music, with vocalist/guitarist Nate Silva, drummer Dino Soares, and bassist Alberto Campuzano having performed at Wacken Open Air in Germany after winning the 2019 Wacken Metal Battle Canada with The Slyde.
