NWOBHM legends Cloven Hoof have announced the release of their tenth full-length studio album, Never A Prophet In Your Own Land, on September 25 via High Roller Records. The album features a diverse range of tracks including mid-tempo songs, faster tunes, epic compositions, and heavy metal rockers, showcasing the band's musical versatility. The new single "Conquistador" is accompanied by a lyric video, which highlights the vocal performance of frontman Harry "The Tyrant" Conklin.

According to bassist Lee Payne, the album does not directly continue Heathen Cross, instead drawing closer in style to A Sultan’s Ransom, though this similarity emerged organically rather than being planned. The band emphasized that the recording process was organic and resulted in a rich, varied album that reflects their current musical maturity. The full tracklist includes Terror From The Sky, Conquistador, Never A Prophet, Gypsy Roller, The Bigger They Are, Iron Mask, Phantom Chaser, Flying Dutchman, Prodigal Son, and Seven Sacred Wonders.
