Prog-rock supergroup DarWin has shared an official music video for their track "Five Steps On Ther Sun", the title cut from their upcoming album.

The album is set to be released via OoS/Phantom Recordings and marks a follow-up to their hit release, Five Steps On The Sun, which dropped last year.

The record picks up exactly where the last album left off, featuring intricate melodies, sledgehammer grooves, and virtuoso playing throughout its tracks.

The band has revealed that their latest studio album will include eight original compositions: "Rising Distortion", "Distorted Mirror", "Man vs.

Machine", "33rd Century Man", "Cry a River", "Glow", "Loophole", and "Winter Fare".

The news marks the next chapter in the musical journey of DarWin, which has been steadily establishing itself as a true original since its formation in 2015.

Led by songwriter/guitarist DarWin, drummer Simon Phillips (Toto), lead vocalist Matt Bissonette (Joe Satriani), bass sensation Mohini Dey (Steve Vai), guitarist Greg Howe (Michael Jackson), and keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater), the band's sound is described as original and creative rock music that breaks new ground.

The team also includes a roster of veteran musicians, including drummer Julian Pollack (J3PO) and legendary guitarist Andy Timmons.

DarWin has announced their latest album will be released via OoS/Phantom Recordings, with further details on the record's release date and supporting acts to come.
