Dawn Of Solace Announces Fifth Album Skeletons

Finnish death and doom metal band Dawn Of Solace has announced its fifth full-length album, Skeletons, set for release on February 12, 2027. The album features ten tracks including 'Skeletons', 'Awakening', 'Acid Rain', 'Confusion', 'Slumber', 'Enlightenment', 'Rewind', 'Wings', 'Voiceless', and 'Valediction'. The title track is released as the lead single, accompanied by an official music video.

The record expands on the band's signature sound with a stronger emphasis on harsh growling vocals and Mikko Heikkilä's sombre, majestic clean singing. Tuomas Saukkonen's songwriting draws on the atmospheric depth of doom metal while incorporating elements of death and gothic metal. The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Deep Noise Studios by Saku Moilanen, with cover art by Colton Glancey.

shop/home. The band formed in 2005 as Tuomas Saukkonen's creative project and released their debut album The Darkness in 2006. After a prolonged hiatus, the project was revived in 2019.

Since its return, Dawn Of Solace has released three full-length albums: Waves (2020), Flames Of Perdition (2022), and Affliction Vortex (2025).
