Heavy metal supergroup DOWN has announced a headlining tour for this summer, dubbed the "Strap It Down" trek.
The two-week journey will kick off on August 15 in Atlanta, Georgia, and conclude on September 4 in Shakopee, Minnesota.
Alongside their own performances, DOWN will also be direct support to SLAYER at one of the previously announced shows.
In addition to the tour dates below, DOWN has also been booked for several festival appearances, including Zakk Wylde's "Berzerkus" festival on August 28 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and August 29 in Wantagh, New York.
DOWN's setlist will feature a mix of old favorites and new songs from their upcoming album.
Speaking to Metal Nation earlier this week, guitarist Kirk Windstein revealed that the band had completed recording sessions for their long-awaited new album.
"It's done," he said.
"We just need to find the right person to mix it properly." Windstein also praised the songwriting chemistry between himself and his bandmates, saying: "It's been amazing...
It really clicked — when we started writing for this new record, it was like we were back in the '90s or something..." The tour will feature support from Helmet and Spirit in the Room.
"We couldn't be more excited about the material we have," Windstein told The Five Count radio show earlier this month.
"The songs are extremely strong and they're very old school." DOWN has been on hiatus since 2013, but with their reunion now firmly underway, fans can expect to see the band perform live once again.
