Dragonforce has confirmed singer Marc Hudson is stepping back from recording and touring due to an ongoing tinnitus issue. The decision affects the band's forthcoming album and 2026/2027 tour plans, though Hudson will remain involved behind the scenes with the band's management. Alessio Garavello, Marc Hudson's former vocal coach, will take over male vocal duties, supporting frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz, who joined the band in May 2026. The new album will feature a dual-vocals format, with songs set to drop starting next week.

Dragonforce has announced its largest North American tour in over two decades, spanning 22 cities from November 13 to December of 2026. The tour begins at San Diego's Observatory and concludes at Chicago's Riviera Theatre, with stops in New York City's Palladium Times Square, Los Angeles's Wiltern, and beyond. The event will feature support from ENSIFERUM and RHAPSODY OF FIRE.

The band previewed the tour with performances at Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple in May 2026, both of which were described as "riotously received" and "epic". Dragonforce, founded in 1999 and based between Los Angeles and London, has been a defining force in power metal, known for hits like "Through The Fire And Flames" and the iconic track featured in "Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock".
