Prog metal legends Dream Theater have wrapped up their historic 40th Anniversary World Tour after 159 shows in 45 countries.

Drummer Mike Portnoy reflected on the tour's success, saying it was DT's biggest and most successful tour ever.

The band will take a summer break before reconvening to start work on a new album this fall.
