Eddie Vedder has partnered with the young people of Chicago-based nonprofit Guitars Over Guns to release a new song called ""Better Believe"".
The track was produced by Andrew Watt, Andre ""Add-2"" Daniels, Paul LaMalfa, and Vedder himself.
The song debuted during a live performance at the Obama Presidential Center dedication on June 18.
The lyrics for ""Better Believe"" were co-written with Guitars Over Guns and are now available to stream or download on all major platforms.
The initiative aims to empower young people through music education and mentorship, with royalties from the song benefiting Guitars Over Guns.
The project brought together students and alumni from Columbia College Chicago, where the song was recorded, along with young musicians from the nonprofit under the guidance of Andre ""Add-2"" Daniels.
This collaboration highlights the potential for arts-based youth development initiatives like music education to expand opportunities for young people's futures.
All royalties earned by Eddie Vedder and the co-writers will benefit Guitars Over Guns, an organization that uses music mentorship to empower its beneficiaries.
The song features a team of artists, students, and musicians who came together to create this initiative.
The new Bangalore Choir album Rapid Fire Succession: On Target Part II has also been released on BraveWords Records through Black Angel Promotions.
The album showcases the band's signature sound with soaring choruses that are sure to grab listeners' attention."
