Electric Callboy has released their new single "The Way You Are," one of the standout tracks from their upcoming album "Tanzneid," which drops on August 7, 2026.

The track begins as a late-'90s-inspired boy band love ballad before abruptly transforming into a heavy deathcore anthem, showcasing the band's signature genre-blurring style.

The accompanying music video follows a similar trajectory, starting with a nostalgic boy band fantasy before spiraling into a grotesque, blood-soaked nightmare.

In a statement, Electric Callboy explained: "'The Way You Are' started with a pretty simple idea: what if the sweetest late-'90s boy band love ballad suddenly turned into one of the heaviest songs we've ever written? We loved playing with that contrast, both musically and visually.

The result is probably one of the most unexpected songs we've ever released, and definitely one of our favorites on 'Tanzneid'".

The full album "Tanzneid" features fan favorites including "Hypercharged," "Let The Good Times Roll," "Revery," "Still Waiting," "Tanzneid," "Elevator Operator," "Ratatata," and "The Way You Are." The official album release party will take place at Berlin's Huxley's Neue Welt, followed by a live performance at Escalation Fest 2026, where the band will debut the new album for the first time.

The global scavenger hunt tied to "Tanzneid" reaches its final chapter, with mysterious Pink Boxes appearing in cities and unexpected locations worldwide.

Each box contains exclusive rewards, and the final boxes contain golden tickets that grant winners lifetime complimentary access to Electric Callboy headline shows globally.
