Emmure frontman Frankie Palmeri has addressed criticism over the band's use of AI-generated graphics for their upcoming appearance at this year's Vans Warped Tour.

The announcement video, which features Palmeri in a humorous animated style reminiscent of The Simpsons, was met with backlash from fans who felt it was lazy and uncreative.

However, Palmeri fired back on social media, explaining that the decision to use AI-generated graphics was due to time constraints and a lack of resources.

He stated that he had intended to commission a human artist for the task but they were unable to deliver within the required timeframe.

Palmeri expressed frustration at being criticized over what he sees as an innocuous announcement video, saying "The guy couldn't have just done a quick voiceover?" Despite this, some fans remain unconvinced by Palmeri's response and feel that the band should not be taking money for gigs they don't genuinely support.
