Brazilian death metal band Ereboros has unleashed a crushing new single, “In The Depths Of Misery”, which tackles themes of social inequality and psychological control.
The track is part of their upcoming album From Oblivion To The Grave, due to drop on October 30 via independent release.
With lyrics written from real-life experiences of the band's vocalist Thiago Barbosa and drummer Victor Mendonça, “In The Depths Of Misery” introduces the central themes of From Oblivion To The Grave, an album born out of personal instability and the search for meaning.
Musically, the album pairs aggressive death metal with heavy riffs and oppressive atmospheres, balanced by melodic sections that amplify the emotional weight of the songs.
The full tracklisting for From Oblivion To The Grave includes “From Oblivion To The Grave”, “Distorted Man-Made Concept”, “The Agony Of Existence”, “Salute to Disorder”, “Dissonant Soul”, “Nocturnal Paranoia”, “One Last Pulse”, “In The Depths Of Misery”, “Progenies Of The Unseen”, and “At The Gallows Of Doom”.
Meanwhile, fans of Paul Di'Anno have a treat in store as his final solo album is now available on colored vinyl.
The album has been praised for its "proper fist in the air heavy metal" sound by Metal Digest, with Di'Anno's Warhorse out now worldwide through BraveWords Records.
