Veteran German thrash metal band Exumer has released their latest single, "Allocated Savagery," from their new studio album Death Mask Messiah.

The album is set for release on August 28 via Metal Blade Records.

It marks Exumer's first new studio album in seven years and features the rhythm section of drummer Jerome Reil and bassist Alex Voss, who joined the band for the first time in the recording process.

The album was recorded from December 2025 through January 2026 and produced by Dominic Paraskevopoulos of Kreator and Caliban, with mixing and mastering by Arthur Rizk of Soulfly and King Diamond.

Conceptually, Death Mask Messiah draws inspiration from U.S. political developments over the past decade, the pandemic, and the spread of misinformation.

The album also explores the 30-year anniversary of the Waco, Texas standoff with the Branch Davidians.

Death Mask Messiah is available on CD Digipak, digital formats, and vinyl in four color variants: 180g Black, "Galaxy" Red/Black, "Saturn" Grey/Brown Ripple (limited to 250 copies), and "Onyx" Black Ice with White Splatter (limited to 250 copies).

The album features 11 tracks, including "Death Mask Messiah," "Blinding Skies," "Sin Bleeder," "Eradication," "Ravishing Waste," "Allocated Savagery," "Serpent," "Fratricide," "Scorcher," "Frozen Ground," and "Unchained Angel." Pre-orders are available at http://www.metalblade.com/Exumer.

Exumer will perform at the Nuclear Winter Festival 2026 in Hirschaid, Germany on October 23, the Alcatraz & Pluto Festival in Deinze, Belgium on November 21, the Endzeit Festival 2027 in Essen, Germany on February 20, and the Nackenbrecher Open Air in Teuchern, Germany on July 26."
