Faith No More will support System of a Down on a four-date tour of Australia and New Zealand in early 2027.

The shows will take place at Sydney's Accor Stadium on January 22, Melbourne's Marvel Stadium on January 27, Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium on February 1, and Wellington's Hnry Stadium on February 7.

The tour marks System of a Down's first performances in Australia in over a decade, following their last appearance at the Soundwave festival in 2012.

Faith No More, which last performed in Australia in 2015, will also be making a return to the region.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 31 at 10 a.m.

(Sydney), 11 a.m.

(Melbourne and Wellington), and 12 p.m.

(Brisbane).

A PayPal First Access pre-sale begins on July 29, requiring an account, while the artist pre-sale for fans on the band's mailing list starts on July 28.

The partnership comes after Faith No More signed a global deal with 30e, the Brazilian live entertainment giant, on June 16.

According to a press release, 30e will serve as the strategic and operational hub for the band's upcoming global tours, overseeing tour conception across five continents and brand development.

Faith No More has not performed live since 2016.

The band initially reunited in 2009 for touring purposes, 12 years after releasing its previous studio album, 'Album of the Year,' and later released 'Sol Invictus' in 2015.

In 2021, the band canceled its fall performances due to mental health issues affecting singer Mike Patton, a decision that was later acknowledged by the other members, who expressed disappointment in the cancellation while supporting Patton's well-being.

"We stand by Mike Patton and his journey," the band members stated in a joint message.

"His health is paramount, and we are committed to his recovery and future performances." The 2027 tour represents Faith No More's first live performances in Australia since 2015, and marks a significant return for both bands in the region."
