FEAR FACTORY has released a new single, "Roboticist," in late August via Nuclear Blast. The track features vocalist Milo Silvestro and drummer Pete Webber, who have been part of the band's touring lineup since February 2023. The song, which originally existed as an instrumental for a plugin by Dino Cazares, was reworked with vocals and a new arrangement, including a shift in guitar usage from a seven-string to an eight-string Kiesel model. The release coincides with the launch of FEAR FACTORY's "Cybernetic Domination" European tour, which began on August 29 in Poznan, Poland and concluded on October 10 in London, United Kingdom. The tour features support from CRYSTAL LAKE, HATE, and THE NOCTURNAL AFFAIR.

The band has also announced a U.S. tour scheduled for November 2026, with support from DARKEST HOUR and BROTALITY. This U.S. leg will follow FEAR FACTORY's co-headlining tour with MUSHROOMHEAD, beginning in Cleveland, Ohio. The upcoming full-length album will continue FEAR FACTORY's long-standing exploration of man-versus-machine themes, building on concepts from earlier works like 'Soul Of A New Machine.' The new record will include lyrics that reflect on the growing role of artificial intelligence in daily life, including its impact on art, data centers, and digital consumption.

The 'Roboticist' single was produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered by Damien Rainaud. It was accompanied by a cinematic music video directed by Vincente Cordero and produced by Arion Csihar. FEAR FACTORY performed its first headlining show with Silvestro and Webber on May 5, 2023, at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California.
