Italian power metal outfit Frozen Crown has unveiled a new era in their discography with the upcoming album, The Legend Of The Six Kings.

Set for release on October 2 via Napalm Records, this sixth full-length effort sees the band continuing their narrative approach with a darker tone and grand melodies.

Inspired by fantasy literature of the 20th century, specifically J.R.R.

Tolkien's Lord of the Rings series, Frozen Crown delves into mysterious darkness with sweeping songs shining bright.

The album marks a new direction for the six-piece as they expand their dynamic repertoire into slightly darker territory while maintaining their trademark sound.

With lead vocalist Giada 'Jade' Etro taking on a more sinister approach and guitarist Federico Mondelli joining forces with drummer Niso Tomasini to pen the tracks, Frozen Crown delivers a glorious performance filled with energetic melodies and catchy choruses.

The Legend Of The Six Kings features ten brand-new heavy power metal tracks touching various nuances of the genre, from raw speed metal to symphonic metal.

Highlights include 'Lightning In The Sky', 'Who Wants To Burn In Heaven', 'Reborn', and the majestic guitar solo on 'The One'.

Notable is the band's cover of the 1998 hit single 'Iris' by Goo Goo Dolls, which receives a power metal twist.
