Gene Simmons and his wife Shannon are facing a lawsuit over a car accident that occurred in July 2024.

Gene Simmons is being sued by Evan Brenner, who claims he was severely injured when their vehicles collided on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.

According to the suit obtained by TMZ, Brenner suffered severe injuries to his body and shock to his nervous system, resulting in great discomfort and pain.

He also claims to have lost income due to his inability to work as a result of the crash.

In a separate interview with Desert Sun, Gene Simmons discussed his band's setlists for their recent shows, which included mostly KISS songs, along with some deeper cuts such as 'Strange Ways' and 'Rocket Ride.' Simmons also mentioned that it can be challenging to build the setlists around teenagers who never had the opportunity to see KISS.

He stated, 'You're kind of damned if you do and damned if you don't,' adding that playing their favorite tunes can sometimes disappoint fans who have seen them several times.

Gene Simmons will be performing with his band, the Gene Simmons Band, at the Legends Of Rock Expo taking place September 25-27 at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.

This event is set to feature once-in-a-lifetime moments and action-packed performances from some of rock music's greatest icons and legends, including Gene Simmons (KISS), Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), Stewart Copeland (The Police), and Dave Davies (The Kinks).

Simmons recently announced The Gene Simmons Band 2026 Canadian tour, which kicks off on November 30 in Edmonton, AB.
