Gene Simmons has confirmed that his solo band, GENE SIMMONS BAND, will continue performing live, nearly three years after KISS concluded its 'End Of The Road' farewell tour. The performances will take place without a manager, roadies, or equipment, as Simmons has designed a business model where the promoter provides all gear, including amplifiers, drums, and travel arrangements. The band, consisting of Gene on bass and vocals, Jason Walker on guitar and vocals, Brian Tichy on drums and vocals, and Brent Woods on guitar, will perform with full audience interaction, including pulling fans up to play instruments on stage.

The GENE SIMMONS BAND will perform original material that has never been recorded by KISS, with no pre-existing setlist. The shows will feature no traditional band logistics, with Simmons stating he personally makes more money per gig in his solo band than in KISS, excluding ancillaries. The tour model relies on local rentals and promoter-funded operations, with Simmons pocketing the full revenue from ticket sales.

Simmons emphasized that live performance is the most fulfilling experience, comparing it to sharing a work of art or a song with others. He stated that the emotional connection and shared energy of live shows are unmatched, and that being on stage is the ultimate form of expression. The band will continue to perform with minimal setup, responding to audience requests such as playing 'Tush' by ZZ TOP, which is known to be in the key of G.
