Tobias Forge–led theatrical metal giants Ghost have responded to a viral Reddit post claiming the band’s recent concert at Orlando’s Kia Center may have cursed the Orlando Magic.

The post—since deleted but widely shared—suggested residual energy from Ghost’s performance was behind the team’s recent struggles. A representative for the band dismissed the claim outright, stating: “We are not aware of any evidence linking us to such an incident.”

Despite the denial, fans continue to joke that Ghost’s live shows are anything but spiritually neutral.

Ghost are currently touring North America, with dates running through February across the U.S. and Canada.
