French metal titans Gojira have officially announced the title and release date of their upcoming album.

The band revealed that the new record will be titled 'The Wretched' and will drop on October 18, 2024, through Nuclear Blast.

This marks the first new studio release from the group since 2021's 'The Art of War'.

'The Wretched' follows the band's previous album 'The Wretched' which was released in 2019, and is set to be their first full-length project in over three years.

The album will be available in multiple formats including standard CD, vinyl, and digital download.

Gojira will also release a limited edition version featuring a custom cover and bonus tracks.

The band confirmed the announcement through their official website and social media channels.

The release will be accompanied by a global promotional campaign, with early access available to fans through the band's digital platform.

No tour dates have been announced yet, though the band has expressed interest in touring in late 2024.

Nuclear Blast, Gojira's long-time label, stated in a press release that 'The Wretched' reflects the band's evolution in sound and lyrical themes, drawing from environmental concerns and human resilience.
