German heavy metal legends Grave Digger have announced their new studio album, Faces Of Pain, set for release on January 15 via Reaper Entertainment. The album features the single "The Number," which serves as a memorial to historical dehumanization and a call for human dignity. The record continues Grave Digger's signature heavy metal sound, blending fast-paced riffs with powerful choruses and mid-tempo anthems. It was produced by frontman Chris Boltendahl at Graveyard Studios in Senden, Germany, with guitar work by Tobias Kersting.
The band has also confirmed the Legends Never Die Tour ’27, running from January 14 to February 13, with dates spanning Germany and Switzerland. The tour will feature Motorjesus and Warwolf as supporting acts. Key stops include Siegburg, Münster, Nürnberg, Munich, and Berlin. Faces Of Pain marks a mature yet energetic chapter in their career, maintaining their classic style while showcasing creative evolution. The album is described as a true metal monster, rooted in tradition yet forward-looking.
The cover artwork was created by Uwe Jarling. The band has not announced any lineup changes or hiatuses, and the release and tour are confirmed as official announcements.
