Australian power metal band Ilium has released its ninth full-length album, Scythe Ballet, six years after Carcinogeist and four years after the Quantum Evolution Event EP. The album features vocalist Giles Lavery, formerly of Warlord, Alcatrazz, Jack Starr, and Dragonsclaw, alongside guitarists Adam Smith and Jason Hodges, and drummer Tim Yatras.
