It features 11 tracks with guest appearances by Dayseeker, Kim Dracula, and Kat Von D.

The band performed the single "I Want To Believe" live on SiriusXM. " The album is described as a powerful exploration of personal transformation, embracing duality, pain, and resilience. It follows the band’s previous releases including the platinum-certified Blood [2012], the Top 25 Billboard 200 albums Black Widow [2014] and Ritual [2017], and the 2022 reimagined EP Blood 1983.

In 2022, the band also released Godmode, a 10-song album featuring the single "The Purge" and collaborations with Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills. The band has sold out headlining tours across the United States and performed at major festivals including Lollapalooza and Sonic Temple. The group is led by frontwoman Brink, with co-founders Chris Howorth, Travis Johnson, Randy Weitzel, and drummer Kent Diimmel.

The album marks a continuation of their legacy of melodic heavy metal with intense emotional depth and sonic power. The next phase of the band is defined by the mantra: "Your voice, our flame. "
