DEF LEPPARD singer Joe Elliott has spoken about the band's upcoming album in a new interview with France's Oüi FM.

The album will include the song 'Rejoice', which was released in late January ahead of the band's return to Las Vegas for their residency shows.

In the interview, Elliott discussed the lyrical inspiration behind the single, saying "The title kind of sums it up, really." He added that the song is meant to be an uplifting and positive-message track.

DEF LEPPARD has been touring this summer and will continue working on the album until they go on tour again.

The band's 12th studio album, 'Diamond Star Halos', came out in 2022, followed by their reimagining album 'Drastic Symphonies' featuring London's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road.

DEF LEPPARD was finally inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in March 2019.
