Legendary songwriter and Journey band member Jonathan Cain has released his new solo single, 'Only A Prayer Away,' which is now available through The Fuel Music.
The song precedes Cain's upcoming six-song EP, set to drop on February 27.
In a statement, Cain describes the track as 'a message of hope for those feeling overwhelmed or searching for solace.' He recalls the song's genesis after seeing Pastor Greg Laurie share the gospel on television and later premiering it on his national radio broadcast.
Cain will join his wife Paula at her 'Unleashed Conference' in Apopka, Florida from February 18-21, which will be livestreamed to 198 countries.
Cain has spent decades sharing his musical gifts with huge audiences and will share heartfelt farewells to Journey fans during their next two tours extending into 2027 before moving into full-time ministry alongside his wife.
Cain currently serves as a worship leader at City Of Destiny church in Apopka, Florida, where his wife Paula is pastor.
Cain's new solo work follows extensive touring with Journey this year and comes ahead of the band's upcoming 'Final Frontier Tour 2026,' set to kick off on February 28 in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
The tour spans 60 cities across North America and concludes on July 2 in Laredo, Texas.
