Kamelot has confirmed the global Dark Asylum World Tour, which includes a performance at the House Of Blues in Anaheim, CA on September 4. The band has also announced the release of their new album, Dark Asylum, set for release across multiple formats including digipak CD, gold, silver, black, white splatter, and liquid blood-filled vinyl editions. Each vinyl version comes with a 24-page booklet and certificate.

A two-disc CD version includes an instrumental album, alongside cassette and digital options. The album features guest appearances by Ignacia Fernández, Clémentine Delauney, Rannveig Sif Sigurðardóttir, Sólveig Sara Leupold, and Tobias Sammet. Dark Asylum is described as a cinematic and atmospheric journey set in a Neo Victorian-era asylum, blending orchestral grandeur with theatrical storytelling.
