L.A.
GUNS has announced the release of their new studio album, "Leopard Skin", which was released on April 2025.
The record marks the band's first project since reuniting with Cleopatra Records in 2017, following a seven-year gap after the 2023 release of "Black Diamonds".
The album features the core lineup of singer Phil Lewis, guitarist Tracii Guns, bassist Johnny Martin, guitarist Ace Von Johnson, and studio drummer Adam Hamilton.
A live CD and DVD titled "Live From The Guild Theatre" was released on July 3 via Cleopatra Records, recorded on July 10, 2025 at The Guild Theatre in Menlo Park, California.
The release celebrates the launch of "Leopard Skin" and includes performances of fan favorites such as "Electric Gypsy", "One More Reason", and "The Ballad Of Jayne".
The full band lineup for the live event remains consistent with the studio configuration.
The band also confirmed a new direction in visual presentation, with frontman Phil Lewis shaving his hair completely in February.
Lewis stated he no longer intends to dye or style his hair, describing the change as liberating and a personal decision that reflects his current stage in life.
The move has been met with largely positive feedback from fans, with 99% of responses reported as complimentary.
Some South American diehards have expressed skepticism, but the band has dismissed such views as outdated.
The new album and live release represent a significant return for L.A.
GUNS, reaffirming their musical identity and creative continuity since their reunion."
