Lacrimas Profundere have announced the release of their new full-length album, Lay Me Down O Silent Fear, set for September 25 via Steamhammer.

The band, known for their gothic and metalcore fusion, returns after a four-year gap since their last studio album, having played over 100 concerts during that time, including major European festivals.

The album features a diverse range of tracks, including the debut single 'O Silent Fear,' which blends elements of Amorphis, Arch Enemy, and HIM.

The opening track 'Days Of Doom' is described as charging across a Mad Max-like wasteland, while 'Faceless' showcases a rare gothic intensity, and 'Veil XV' stands out as a multifaceted ballad.

Tracks like 'Sinful Desire' and 'Arcane Promises' evoke influences from bands such as Slipknot and Sentenced, with 'Heart I Will Break You, Before You Break Me' drawing a comparison to Anathema featuring Glen Danzig.

Lay Me Down O Silent Fear will be released worldwide in multiple formats, including a CD DigiPak with poster, a 140g white/black splatter vinyl with padded inner sleeve and coloured insert, a limited box set with beanie and chain with pendant, exclusive CD/LP bundles with a shirt available at the Steamhammer shop, and digital download/streaming options.
