Canadian solo artist Lindsay Schoolcraft has announced the live debut of her guttural vocals, following a series of developmental steps and performances.

The performance, recorded last month with backing tracks provided by Xenoyr, marks a significant milestone in her solo career.

Schoolcraft credited Marcela Bovio as a key mentor and acknowledged the influence of fellow harsh vocalists in shaping her sound.

Her debut solo album, Harrowing, released in June, explores a journey through emotional and spiritual survival.

The seven-track album spans themes from sorrow and anger to hope and release, with the lead single "Crucified" serving as a powerful anthem for survivors.

The album features guest harsh vocalist Krista Shipperbottom on the track "So Alive", alongside contributions from Rocky Gray and Spencer Creaghan, with guitarist Cody Johnstone and drummer Dylan Gowan also playing key roles in the recording process.

Schoolcraft, previously known as the keyboardist and backing vocalist for Cradle of Filth from 2013 to 2020, has established a reputation as a versatile heavy music artist.

Her 2019 debut album Martyr, released via Cyber Proxy Records, earned a Juno nomination in 2020 and has since cultivated a dedicated fanbase.

She has also contributed vocals and harp to tracks by Motionless in White, Cancer Bats, and Myrkur.

In addition to her solo work, Schoolcraft voiced the character Skvllcraft on Belzebubs' debut album Pantheon of the Nightside Gods.

She continues to develop her craft through ongoing study in music theory, production, and business.
