MEGADETH has confirmed a 24-date European farewell tour titled 'Breakout: Hibernation Of The Nations', kicking off March 9, 2027 in Belfast and concluding April 13 in Lisbon, Portugal.
The arena tour will span 12 of the 22 global markets where the band's self-titled album reached the Top 5, underscoring its enduring international appeal.
The tour features BLACK LABEL SOCIETY and TESTAMENT as full-time supporting acts.
This European leg is part of MEGADETH's multi-year global farewell tour, designed as a celebration of the band's legacy and offering fans across continents multiple opportunities to experience live performances.
The band's new self-titled album, released via Mustaine's Tradecraft imprint on Frontiers Label Group's BLKIIBLK label, debuted at No.
1 on the Billboard 200 with 73,000 equivalent album units in the U.S.
in the week ending January 29, 2026, driven primarily by pure album sales.
The album also reached the top spot in Australia and Austria, and achieved top five positions in Finland, Sweden, the U.K., Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and New Zealand.
MEGADETH's current lineup includes Dave Mustaine, guitarist Teemu Ma̱ntysaari, drummer Dirk Verbeuren, and bassist James LoMenzo.
Ma̱ntysaari joined the band nearly three years ago following Kiko Loureiro's decision to step away from touring in September 2023 to care for his family.
