Metal Church has announced the October 9 release of Metal Church – Live At Rock Hard 2016, available on vinyl and DVD/CD.

The release captures the band's performance at the Rock-Hard Festival in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, during Pentecost 2016, recorded by WDR Rockpalast.

This marks the first official release of the performance as a video and audio recording.

The band, founded in 1981 as Shrapnel, has been a key figure in shaping thrash and speed metal, with their debut album released on independent label Ground Zero Records in 1984.

The group has since released 15 studio albums and multiple live recordings.

The performance features a setlist including tracks such as Fake Healer, In Mourning, Start The Fire, Reset, Gods Of Second Chance, Date With Poverty, No Tomorrow, Watch The Children Pray, No Friend Of Mine, Killing Your Time, Beyond The Black, Badlands, and The Human Factor.

The release celebrates Metal Church's 45-year history and honors their long-standing relationship with Rock-Hard magazine and the Rock-Hard Festival.

The band, led by founding member Kurdt Vanderhoof, has maintained a dedicated fanbase throughout its career.
