Portuguese dark metal band MOONSPELL has announced their 'God Is A Vampire Tour' for spring 2027, marking their most ambitious European headline tour to date. The tour celebrates the 35th anniversary of the band and coincides with the release of their critically acclaimed album 'Far From God', which dropped on July 3, 2026 via Napalm Records.

The tour will span across Europe, beginning in Germany and traveling through France, Spain, the U.K., Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe, concluding in Central Europe. Stops include cities such as Berlin, Munich, Zagreb, Vienna, Bucharest, Sofia, Thessaloniki, Athens, Skopje, Belgrade, Budapest, Katowice, Gdansk, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Zlin, Leipzig, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, and Gothenburg. The full itinerary follows the route from March 4 to April 18, 2027.

The lineup features two special guests: IOTUNN, a progressive metal act from Denmark and the Faroe Islands, and TODOMAL, an atmospheric doom metal band from Spain. The tour will feature an exclusive new stage design, immersive video production, and advanced lighting and sound systems to reflect the dark, romantic atmosphere of the 'Far From God' album.

The album, produced by Jaime Gomez Arellano, explores themes of Baudelairian love, existential guilt, and redemption, positioning gothic metal as a deeply emotional and authentic genre. The tour serves as both a celebration of 35 years of music and a statement of the band's enduring commitment to dark, unfiltered gothic metal.
