Fans will gather on June 12 to celebrate rock legend Lemmy Kilmister's life, as part of the ongoing 'Lemmy Forever' initiative.

A special ceremony will take place at the Download festival in England, where a portion of Lemmy's ashes will be enshrined in a fruit machine-themed vessel.

The urn represents one of Lemmy's loves - classic fruit machines - which he often visited on tour.

This year's ceremony is headed by longtime friend and Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell's replacement.

Todd Singerman notes, "It remains a responsibility we proudly carry...

Not everyone can make the pilgrimage to visit Lem in Hollywood, so we are bringing him back to his fans." The ceremony will also honor Lemmy's bandmate, Phil Campbell, who tragically passed away in March.

A portion of the ashes will then be transported to O2 Apollo Manchester for another 'Lemmy Forever' ceremony on June 16.

Friends and fans of Lemmy will gather to share stories, celebrate his extraordinary life, and pay their respects at both events.

This is a fitting tribute to one of Britain's most beloved rock icons.
