BraveWords arrived at the Mystic Festival in Gdańsk, Poland, where metalheads are descending upon the city.

The five-stage festival features over 90 bands performing at the historic Gdańsk Shipyard, where Pink Floyd legend David Gilmour filmed his famous Live In Gdańsk album in 2006.

As we explored the grounds, we caught a glimpse of Megadeth's Dave Mustaine enjoying a casual stroll in the nearby Old Town, accompanied by a bodyguard.

The night kicked off with Kanonenfieber delivering an unrelenting show, drawing the crowd back to WWI-era battles with their compact but intense performance.

Frontman Ola Lindgren beamed as he led Grave through a power trio set, spreading joy throughout the audience.

Meanwhile, Unleashed gathered inside the packed Sabbath stage, where they reunited with fans in Poland and were met with equal enthusiasm.,With Day 1 underway, we're excited to see what's in store for this year's Mystic Festival.
