Pantera and Down Announce Historic NOLA Festival

Pantera will perform at The Great NOLA Trendkill festival at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, LA on November 20-21, marking their first show in the city in 30 years. The event celebrates the 30th anniversary of Pantera’s The Great Southern Trendkill, originally released in 1996. Down will also perform at the festival, marking the official release show for their new album, Volume V, set for November 20 via Nuclear Blast Records. The album, produced by Eddie Mapp and Down, was mixed by Dave Fortman and mastered by Maor Appelbaum.

The festival will feature a lineup including Black Label Society, Corrosion Of Conformity, Power Trip, Crowbar, Eyehategod, Rāde, Herakleion, and Pig Destroyer. In addition to music, the event will include horror movie screenings and special appearances hosted by Philip H. Anselmo through his Housecore Horror Festival. The festival is a return of the Housecore Horror Festival after over a decade.

Artist presales begin Tuesday, September 8 with password NOLA. Live Nation, Ticketmaster, and local presales begin Wednesday, September 9 at 11 AM EST. General onsale is Friday, September 11 at 11 AM EST. Tickets are available at https://www.ticketmaster.com/event/1B006522ED382003.
