Original founding Saxon guitarist Paul Quinn has announced a string of intimate club shows in the UK this October.

The concerts, dubbed "An Evening With The King," feature Quinn playing songs by Saxon and cover tracks that have inspired him over his 50-year career in music.

This unique concert format provides fans with an up-close experience with one of the founders of the 'new wave of British heavy metal.' Quinn has been touring Europe with his long-time band mate Harrison Young, playing duo acoustic club shows as part of their tour schedule.

Their live appearances have given audiences a chance to see Quinn performing in a more intimate setting than usual.

The pair's UK tour will take place this October, featuring six club shows across the country with support from British band Adam & The Hellcats.

Fans can expect to hear classic Saxon tracks like 'Wheels of Steel' and 'Crusader,' as well as songs from Quinn's own band.

In addition to their UK tour dates, Quinn and Young have also announced several live appearances in the Netherlands this summer and fall with the full lineup of The Cards, featuring Dutch drummer Koen Herfst.
