Phil Soussan, a legendary bassist and vocalist known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol, and Last in Line, has signed with BraveWords Records to release his new solo album, Cosmo Fighters.

The album is set for release in 2026.

Soussan commented on signing with BraveWords Records, saying, β€œI am thrilled to be working with the BraveWords Records team on my new album.

To me BraveWords represents a truly modern label with modern ideas.” He expressed his excitement about collaborating with the label and bringing his music to his fans.

The album's songs were written and recorded over the last year, with Soussan playing all the instruments and performing all the vocals (with the exception of one track that features Richie Kotzen on guitar and two tracks that feature drummers Carmine Appice and Jay Schellen).

Soussan stated, β€œThese songs are really about what is going on in the world; chaos, division and the rise of social media to become an incredible tool that can be used for good, or at the same time a weapon that can be used for bad.” He emphasized the importance of human intelligence in not becoming controlled by futuristic villains.

Soussan's resume dating back to Ozzy's classic solo album The Ultimate Sin is unmatched in the world of hard rock.

BraveWords Records is honored to work with this legendary musician as he continues to shine with everlasting youth.

BraveWords Records, led by Brian Adams, Giles Lavery, Tim Henderson, and Michael Brandvold, has a nearly 100-year combined experience in the music industry.
