Norwegian symphonic black metal group Profane Burial has released a new single titled “Triumph Of Dreadful Aftermath,” which serves as an introduction to their upcoming full-length album, Desolate Echoes Of Turmoil.

The album is set to drop later this year via These Hands Melt.

The band describes the song as telling the tale of how chronic insomnia and spontaneous panic tear apart the fabric of normality, dragging the human psyche into a nightmare dimension of disintegration and fear.

With its ferocious style of expression, “Triumph Of Dreadful Aftermath” sets a whole new tone of aggressiveness for Profane Burial.

Profane Burial’s upcoming album is considered their most elaborate and dynamic work to date.

The album maintains the core foundation of their established style but also delves into progressive territory with complex arrangements, changing structure, and unexpected timing.

The band worked with notable names in the studio to bring this specific vision to life.

The entire album was mixed and mastered by Børge Finstad at Toproom Studio, while the drum tracks were recorded independently at Strand Studio.

Visually, the release is tied together by a striking cover artwork painted by Ella Kunst.

Profane Burial originally formed in 2013 as an ambitious studio project between Kjetil Ytterhus and André Aaslie.

The band has undergone several lineup changes over the years but has maintained their unique sound and style.

The album will be available across several formats via These Hands Melt, including a standard digital album, a CD Digipack strictly limited to 200 copies, and a classic vinyl LP pressed in two separate color variants.
