RUSH has officially announced a 58-show 'Fifty Something' tour spanning Canada, the USA, and Mexico in 2026, marking the band's first tour in over a decade and its first run of shows since the 2020 death of legendary drummer Neil Peart.
The tour, which initially included 22 dates that sold out immediately, has expanded to include 24 cities and over half a million tickets, reflecting strong fan demand.
The band's performance at Madison Square Garden on July 28 features the first live show with its revamped lineup, including Geddy Lee (vocals, bass) and Alex Lifeson (guitar), alongside German drummer Anika Nilles and new keyboardist Loren Gold, best known as a touring member of The Who and Chicago.
The tour's setlist draws from nearly 40 RUSH classics and is structured to honor Neil Peart's legacy, with two sets per night dedicated to celebrating his life and impact on the band.
RUSH made a public debut with Nilles at the Juno Awards in Hamilton, Ontario, in late March, performing 'Finding My Way' — the first song from the band's debut album, which does not feature Peart.
This performance marked Lee and Lifeson's first live appearance as RUSH since concluding their 40th-anniversary tour in 2015.
The 2026 leg of the tour will also include a first-time visit to Europe in early 2027, the band's first European performance since 2013, and its first South American tour in 17 years.
The tour was initially postponed due to Geddy Lee's diagnosis of laryngitis and bronchitis in June, which delayed two shows at Dickies Arena — originally scheduled for June 30 and July 2 — with the July 2 date ultimately moved due to travel and border-related disruptions.
After completing its four-night run in Chicago, the tour continued with a full schedule of shows across North America.
