Chicago-based post metal trio RUSSIAN CIRCLES will release their new album, "Nine", on August 28 via Sargent House.

The official music video for the LP's first single, "Empath", is available below.

RUSSIAN CIRCLES' sixth studio album continues the band's evolution and refinement of their sound, building upon their strengths while pushing boundaries.

The album was recorded with engineer Kurt Ballou at Electrical Audio in Chicago and GodCity Studio in Salem, Massachusetts.

The relationship with Ballou began on their sixth album "Guidance", during which he highlighted the weight and entropy of metal and hardcore bands while enhancing clarity and articulation.

This fall, RUSSIAN CIRCLES will embark on a North American tour, bringing their "pure metallic catharsis" across the continent.

Dates include Whitefish Bay, WI @ The Argo *, Chicago, IL @ Bohemian National Cemetery *, Detroit, MI @ El Club *, Toronto, ON @ The Opera House *, Montreal, QC @ Club Soda *, Boston, MA @ Royale *, Queens, NY @ Knockdown Center *, Philadelphia, PA @ Union Transfer *, and many more.

The band comments: "The music we make is a collective process of reconciliation, navigation, and reflection upon aging both as individuals and as a creative entity.

Life has created very real distances between us, but the band continues to be at the center, and this creative collaboration is a way of charting the passage of time while also giving us a reason to look to the future." The album's tracks include "Borehole", "Empath", "Eluvial", "E2", "Meridian", "Arletta", and "Seventh Seal".

The band will be joined by PELICAN on select dates, while PRIMITIVE MAN provides support for other shows.

RUSSIAN CIRCLES' ninth studio album marks a new chapter in their sonic journey, blending elements of touch & go artists, prog rock giants, kosmische grooves, and international underground metal strains.

This fall tour marks a significant milestone in RUSSIAN CIRCLES' history, following their breakthrough success with albums like "Guidance", "Gnosis", and "Blood Year".

As the band embarks on this journey across North America, fans will be eager to witness their musical trajectory unfold.
