German folk rock frontrunners, Schandmaul, have a new album on the horizon titled Sternensegler (Engl.

“star sailor”), set to drop on September 11 via Napalm Records.

This marks their first release since switching up their lineup with Till Herence taking over vocals.

The new singer has been filling in live shows since Thomas Lindner's departure due to illness in 2024.

Schandmaul’s founder, Thomas Lindner, is still part of the crew but has transitioned to instruments instead.

Their new album Sternensegler sets sail with "Nimm alles mit" (Engl.

“take everything with you”).

The title track offers fans a helping hand while showcasing Till Herence's vocals on songs like "Beide FĂĽĂźe in der Luft" and the harsher side of the band is revealed early on with "Flagge".

The album also includes fan-favorite tracks such as "Nosferatu", "Wo Sprache aufhört" (Engl.

“where language ends”), and "In der Hand".

Till Herence already showcased his vocals on their first single, "In der Hand", released in 2025 with the lyric "Um uns wird es niemals leise"—Sternensegler proves it.

The album will be available in multiple formats including a strictly limited Napalm Records mailorder exclusive LP Gatefold Liquid edition.

Schandmaul's tour itinerary can be found on their official website.
