German folk-rock legends Schandmaul have just unveiled the title track of their upcoming album, Sternensegler, along with its accompanying music video today.

The album's release date has been confirmed as September 11 via Napalm Records.

With their twelfth studio album, Schandmaul are embarking on a new chapter in the band’s history, featuring vocalist Till Herence for his first album with the group.

The title track, "Sternensegler", perfectly reflects this fresh beginning, blending upbeat melodies with lyrics filled with hope and optimism to create an uplifting atmosphere.

This comes after Schandmaul announced their new album earlier this month.

While the past few years have not always been easy for the band, they have remained united, facing every challenge with strength, resilience, and their trademark spirit.

Sternensegler stands as a powerful testament to that journey.

The single features a mix of genres including folk-rock, metal, and a touch of medieval music elements.

Schandmaul comment on the new single: “Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking.

We’ve got a tailwind and are finally taking off again.

Wherever this journey takes us, we’re on board together and ready for whatever lies ahead.” Sternensegler will be available in various formats including a 1LP Gatefold Liquid edition with a limited-edition certificate signed by the band members.

The album tracklisting includes standout tracks "Beide Füße in der Luft", "Flagge", "Nosferatu", and "Wo Sprache aufhört".

Additionally, fans can look forward to an instrumental harp version of the songs included on some editions.

The band's tour itinerary is available on their official website.
