SCORPIONS have launched their 60th-anniversary tour, beginning in March 2025 in Mexico, Brazil, and Chile.
The tour was originally scheduled to start in February 2025 with a Las Vegas residency at PH Live at Planet Hollywood, but those dates were postponed due to drummer Mikkey Dee's recovery from a sepsis diagnosis.
In May 2025, the band canceled several South American concerts due to a respiratory infection affecting vocalist Klaus Meine.\ \ During a July 28 performance at the Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki, Finland, SCORPIONS were joined by Finnish violinist Linda Lampenius—also known as Linda Brava—for live renditions of 'Send Me An Angel' and 'Wind Of Change'.
Lampenius, who joined the Helsinki Junior Strings at age eight, has toured across North America, Europe, and Asia, and has built a reputation as one of Finland's best-selling classical artists with a solo album released on EMI Classics.\ \ Her crossover performance of 'Liekinheitin' (Flamethrower) with pop singer Pete Parkkonen has been selected as Finland's official entry for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, set to take place in Vienna.\ \ In an April interview with Rolling Stone India, Klaus Meine stated the band remains 'on this upbeat feeling' and 'very passionate' about continuing their tour.
'We still enjoy what we're doing,' he said.
'We're still very passionate about things and very excited to go on this road ahead,' the 78-year-old added.
'We're very grateful to still be around.
We're still standing,' he said.
'God knows how long we can do this.
We're getting older every year, but when we see the fans in front of the stage, we get so much energy and power back from our fans that we're still young at heart.'"
