SEPULTURA has confirmed its farewell tour, which will begin on March 1, 2024, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and conclude on November 7, 2026, at Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu in São Paulo.
The global tour marks the band's final performances, with all shows set to be captured in a live album compiling 40 songs recorded in 40 different cities.
The tour includes appearances by METAL ALLEGIANCE, featuring Mike Portnoy of DREAM THEATER, Alex Skolnick, Chuck Billy of TESTAMENT, Phil Demmel of MACHINE HEAD, Troy Sanders of MASTODON, and Mark Menghi.
KRISIUN and SACRED REICH will also perform on the bill.
Former members Jean Dolabella and Jairo Guedz are expected to join the celebration.
The band announced drummer Eloy Casagrande's departure on February 27, 2024, stating he was leaving to join another project, with Casagrande later confirming his role as drummer for SLIPKNOT.
The exit came just two months before the tour's start, and the remaining band members expressed shock at the decision.
SEPULTURA also released a new EP, 'The Cloud Of Unknowing', via Nuclear Blast Records.
The band's final show will be held in São Paulo, Brazil.
The farewell tour follows a 2024 celebration of the band's 40th anniversary, during which it was announced the tour would be a global journey.
The band has also confirmed a live album documenting its final performances, with 40 songs recorded across 40 cities to capture the most energetic moments on stage."
