In a recent interview with LA Lloyd, SHINEDOWN frontman Brent Smith discussed his decision to live a nomadic lifestyle, primarily residing in hotels.

Smith explained that this choice stems from his upbringing and the idea that he's "running towards everything," rather than being homeless.

He stated that his home is now with his son in Florida and Tennessee, but his own personal life remains on the road.

Smith also talked about how his bandmates have different packing styles, with Barry preferring to overpack and Eric adopting a minimalist approach similar to Smith's.

However, they've all learned to be less pack rats due to the convenience of grabbing what they need while on tour.

SHINEDOWN recently released their album 'Ei8ht' via Atlantic Records in May.

The band is currently on their massive "Dance, Kid, Dance Act II" world tour, which spans 54 dates across 11 countries.

Supporting acts include COHEED AND CAMBRIA, BLACK STONE CHERRY, FROM ASHES TO NEW, DJ Rock Feed, and THOSE DAMN CROWS.
